To help 10 worthy projects beat crypto winter, Presearch is providing $1 million in advertising grants ($100k each in exposure) determined by a community voting process.
Grant categories
Grants will be awarded to projects selected by Presearch community members in a vote, one project each from the following categories.
- Censorship-resistant currencies /privacy coins
- Layer 1 blockchains
- Layer 2 blockchains
- DeFi
- Metaverse/GameFi
- NFTs
- Web3 platforms (i.e. Lens, LBRY, Minds etc.)
- Infrastructure (i.e. Flux, Metamask, Rainbow, Akash, Uniswap etc.)
- Stablecoins
- Other
Leveraging the value of Presearch’s traffic to spread awareness about high-quality crypto projects
Each month, Presearch receives more traffic than FTX, Coindesk, Cointelegraph, KuCoin, Crypto.com and many of the world’s top crypto projects.
Our users are dedicated crypto enthusiasts who value privacy, decentralization, and web3 technology. In short, they are a perfect match for crypto projects that are looking to grow their user bases.
Presearch is a globally-distributed project, with users in more than 100 countries, but with the US market accounting for the largest single source of traffic.
To help projects weather crypto winter, we’re offering them the opportunity to be selected for a $100k advertising grant to spread awareness about their projects and tokens.
What do selected projects receive as part of their grant?
Presearch has an abundance of targeted traffic and brand awareness opportunities, and projects that are selected for a grant will receive $100,000 worth of exposure within the Presearch ecosystem as follows:
Keyword advertising — value $50,000
The ability to select keywords that are related to the project, and to have their ad displayed at the top of the search results when users enter those keywords. Presearch keyword experts will manage the campaign on behalf of the project to ensure the best results. We anticipate driving approximately 25,000 clicks per project through this campaign.
Site takeover — value $45,000
The opportunity to ‘take over’ as the daily sponsor of the site for 2 days. This includes prominent display of the advertiser’s logo at the top of Presearch along with a link to the project’s website. Additionally, the rewards earned by searchers will be attributed to the sponsor. This is a new ad unit that will be coming to all in 2023.
Social exposure — value $5,000
Projects will be featured to those who follow Presearch on social media, email, on our blog and video channels. We will work with each grant recipient to target their creative and push it out to our audiences.
Process and timeline
The process to apply for an Advertising Grant is as follows:
- Projects submit a self-nomination by September 30th, 2022
- Shortlist of nominees in each category compiled after direct contact with project teams to confirm participation
- Voting begins October 17th, 2022 — in order to cast a vote, you must be a Presearch member with at least 1,000 PRE
- Voting ends on December 16th, 2022
- Campaigns for grant winners start on January 2023 with keyword staking ads and social exposure, site takeover experiences in early 2023
