Continuing to expand social media reach. Working on putting together a campaign to tap into viral news of the day and direct people into Presearch search results

We’ve sent out the fourth edition of the Presearch email featuring a privacy digest and project news!
Search numbers steady
Despite move to search staking, which has decreased rewards by 10x, traffic is holding steady between 2.2m and 3m searches per day, with the majority unrewarded. Quality of traffic continues to increase!
User archetypes
Doing work to build out a proper marketing campaign and starting with constructing portraits of our ideal target users.

Monetization update

Presearch is ramping up monetization to ensure we reach our potential as a leading search business with a sustainable and regenerative token ecosystem

Homepage takeovers
Bitcoin.com goes live next week. This trade deal provides great exposure!
Alkimi ad network
Preparing for Alkimi decentralized ad network and integrating the prebid ad server. Expect this will drive significant monetization.
eBay/Amazon monetization
First monetization of eBay and Amazon.
New autocomplete monetization unit
With the launch of autocomplete this week, we are working to integrate ad units into the results in September.
New team members
This week we've had two new team members join us, Jason Byers and Dave Watts, who will be focused on generating revenue through affiliates as well as end-user advertisers with homepage takeovers and keyword ads.

Node reward change

With the changes in node rewards and number of nodes, we thought it would make sense to have a discussion

Effective today, daily rewards have been reduced by the equivalent of $1,500
Each month we will re-evaluate rewards against increases in search volume as we attempt to bring the network into balance. If additional reductions occur, they will be in increments of $1,500 each month and happen on the first of the month
Tim’s company has taken 1,000 nodes offline to help offset the decrease
So far, the rest of the network is stable, with approximately 72k nodes online and no other major reductions that we are aware of.
