Marketing update

We’re spreading the word to drive more users and increase the number of searches!

Social media campaign
Continuing to expand social media reach. Working on putting together a campaign to tap into viral news of the day and direct people into Presearch search results.
Email marketing work
We’ve sent out the fifth edition of the Presearch email featuring a privacy digest and project news, and continue to optimize email comms.
Video marketing campaign planning
We are working with a video marketing company to develop our campaign and are preparing to onboard with them so they can build out the full plan and begin developing creative. This is the start of the Youtube campaign that is mentioned in the roadmap. It will be ongoing for the life of the project, and is beginning now in Q3.
Search numbers steady
We’ve had some solid recoveries on search numbers, and it appears to be legitimate increases in usage. The team is increasing its targets for growth in the short term based on this.
Staking rewards integration
Brenden was able to get StakingRewards.com to include Presearch in their listings. He is also building out a calculator that will go live on searchstaking.com when it’s ready.
Growing the growth marketing team
We are looking to grow the growth marketing team, and are talking with some experienced growth marketers about joining Presearch. If you are constantly thinking about ways to grow the Presearch user base, please contact colin@presearch.io and let’s talk about how you may be able to assist.

Monetization update

Presearch is ramping up monetization to ensure we reach our potential as a leading search business with a sustainable and regenerative token ecosystem

Homepage takeovers
We are continuing to work to secure homepage takeover partnerships. Justin has had to step aside due to family reasons, so we are looking for someone else to help lead the charge if you are watching and think you’d be a good fit.
New affiliate link UI
We’ve run into some challenges with embedding affiliate links directly into search results from certain large platforms, and have developed a new Ul to address their concerns. You will now be presented with a special icon to the left of any domains that we have affiliate relationships with. If you click on the icon instead of the regular link, Presearch will be paid if you purchase through that merchant.
Prebid server optimization
With prebid live, Alkimi ads are ramping up and we’re looking to add in additional ad networks. Making progress in getting approvals.
Optimizing autocomplete ads
The new autocomplete ad unit is now in place, and we are working to optimize the experience now.
Product ads & shopping tab coming soon!
We are partnering with a private shopping ad provider so that we can add product listing ads and a new shopping tab to the site. Should be online before EOM
