Marketing update

We’re spreading the word to drive more users and increase the number of searches!

Social media campaign
Continuing to expand social media reach. Working on putting together a campaign to tap into viral news of the day and direct people into Presearch search results.
Email marketing work
We are preparing to send out an email to all registered users beginning next week in hopes of re-engaging the existing user base.
We are thinking we may go to a monthly update, email rather than weekly to focus on the quality of content.
Video marketing campaign planning
Continuing to work with a video marketing company to develop our campaign and are preparing to onboard with them so they can build out the full plan and begin developing creative. This is the start of the Youtube campaign that is mentioned in the roadmap. It will be ongoing for the life of the project, and is beginning now in Q3.
Search numbers steady
We’ve had some solid recoveries on search numbers, and it appears to be legitimate increases in usage. The team is increasing its targets for growth in the short term based on this.
CryptoPanic ad going live
We have finalized the ad copy and strategy for the CryptoPanic ad and will see it go live in the next couple of days.
Growing the growth marketing team
We are still looking to grow the growth marketing team, and are talking with some experienced growth marketers about joining Presearch. If you are constantly thinking about ways to grow the Presearch user base, please contact colin@presearch.io and let’s talk about how you may be able to assist.

Monetization update

Presearch is ramping up monetization to ensure we reach our potential as a leading search business with a sustainable and regenerative token ecosystem

Homepage takeovers
We are continuing to work to secure homepage takeover partnerships. Presearch co-founder, Thomas LeClair has re-joined the team and is picking up where Justin left off to help drive growth and monetization with homepage take overs.
Implemented new consent management platform (CMP)
To prepare for additional ad networks to plug into the Prebid ad server, we’ve implemented a new CMP as they are required to participate.
Autocomplete ads
We’re still working to optimize the experience and generate revenue from this ad unit.
Prebid server optimization
With prebid live, we’re now preparing to work with another ad network-The Publisher Desk -which is working to help us whitelist ads that respect privacy and configure our environment for maximum monetization impact while ensuring users are protected. We will be doing a trial for two weeks starting next week to ensure it’s a fit
Product ads & shopping tab coming soon!
We are partnering with a private shopping ad provider so that we can add product listing ads and a new shopping tab to the site. Plan to launch next week.
More than 40 new affiliates
Ed has been busy and got us approved with more than 40 affiliates through Rakuten.
