Presearch is excited to announce the addition of Freespoke as a new Search Provider to the platform! Freespoke is a US-based search engine dedicated to providing a full spectrum of information.
Search for balanced news with Freespoke
One of the biggest criticisms people have had of Big Tech search engines is their lack of balance along the political spectrum, with many voices outside the mainstream being minimized or even eliminated within search results.
Freespoke aims to provide a more diverse result set that includes sources that are both mainstream and independent.
A unique feature of their news search will label a publication with a ‘left’, ‘right’ or ‘middle’ tag if the source is known to have a certain political bias.
In addition to their strong news search offering, Freespoke is a general search engine as well, and you can also search images, products and videos with most results currently supported by the Bing API.
Freespoke ethos
The Freespoke team is dedicated to concepts that also align with Presearch — freedom of choice, privacy and respect for users. Their search engine is completely private and anonymous.
The Freespoke shopping experience also makes it easier to find American-made and Veteran owned brands and products, items that are harder to uncover with traditional search companies.
How to add a new search provider
From the top right corner profile menu on Presearch, click on ‘Search Providers’.
From the search providers page, search for ‘Freespoke’ in the search field.
Click on the Freespoke logo to add it as a provider to your options.
You can also drag the image to a different place within the list for easy access.
Then, go to Presearch.com, type your search term into the field and click on the Freespoke logo to send your query over to the Freespoke site.
